| Referral from Sue "When I was looking to expand my cattery, a dear friend, and fellow breeder put me in touch with Lisa Hendershot. After a few minutes of talking, I learned she was as dedicated and devoted as myself to her cattery and her furry family. She held to high standards of care, and each one of her kittens is treated like children. I was very impressed. She is not just 'another breeder', but a dear friend as well. When it came time for me to take my new kitten home, Lisa drove half way to meet us. Meeting her in person confirmed all my high expectations! Then I saw Safire for the first time. She was more beautiful than the pictures. She immediately melted into my arms and purred. She was the most adorable, loving kitten I have ever seen. The entire ride home, Safire cuddled up on my lap and purred. I could hardly wait for my teenage son, Michael, to meet his new kitten. Michael was involved in an accident that left him hearing impaired, and during his recovery, spent a great deal of time helping me run my cattery. He developed a strong love of the breed, and begged me to allow him to get his very own Persian. The day finally arrived that he would be able to have that dream come true! When Safire and Michael met for the first time, it was love at first sight. Safire became his best friend. She knew when he was having a 'bad day' and would cuddle up by him as if to say, "It's okay Mike, I am here for you!" The two are very rarely apart. She sleeps by him at night, and waits by the door for him after school. She helps him with homework too! His recovery has been tremendously helped, and I believe Safire was a main instrument in that. I was hooked on Lisa's kittens, and could hardly wait to get another one! After a while of patient waiting, Lisa told me about a stunning kitten she had for me. She was worth the wait! I fell in love with the picture immediately. I just had to have Dazzle! Once again, we met Lisa and her husband to get our new 'precious purrbaby'. This time, Michael insisted he had to come with us. In fact, all our children piled in the car for the 3 hour ride. Again, it was love at first sight. Dazzle certainly dazzled everyone. She purred the entire ride home, taking turns cuddling on everyone's lap. She immediately settled into her new home, and became part of the family. Our vet was impressed with the health and disposition of both Safire and Dazzle. They are the most loving, socialized kittens we have seen. They love it when people come to visit us, and insist on lap time. Dazzle and Safire have managed to turn friends and family that are not big "cat lovers" into people who can't wait to visit them again! I am so impressed with the quality and temperament of Lisa's kittens, I would never hesitate to get another kitten from her someday, or recommend her to others. Her kittens are purrrrrfect!"
