Watching Brian, Lisa, and her boys tell Pyro 'goodbye' made me see how much time and love Lisa and her family put into their cats and kittens. We were so pleased with Pyro, that we decided to get another kitten from Lisa. This time, a Lilac Point Himalayan that we named 'Roary'. I sometimes would say to myself, "I don't know if another cat could be as sweet as Pyro is!" But come to find out, Roary was just as sweet! It was just amazing how Pyro and Roary adjusted to everything so quickly and were so happy to be with anyone from day one. It is wonderful how Lisa only wants the best for her cats and kittens, and she will do WHATEVER it takes. Lisa is a TRUE BREEDER and a wonderful friend as well! I feel honored that I was able to purchase my kittens from Paws and Purrs Cattery and couldn't be more blessed with the two precious kittens I have today! We are both in our 40’s, recently married, and cat lovers. When we decided that we wanted to add a kitten to our lives, the search began! Quite by chance, I stumbled onto a web page that interested me, and presented on its front page a picture of one of the most beautiful cats I think I have ever seen, Lacey a Solid Lilac Doll-Faced Persian. She was stunning to look at, and made it almost impossible to resist looking further into what Paws and Purrs had to offer. At the time, I had no idea we had found something that was to become for us much more than just a buying experience, it in fact became a life experience. One that brings about feelings of joy, family, and friendship every time it comes to mind. Paws and Purrs Cattery exceeded every expectation my wife and I had. Lisa, and her whole family for that matter, made the entire experience one of the most emotionally pleasant and rewarding experiences that I have ever had. By the time we picked Frodo up, we had come to know them like we were all one big, happy family seeing each other for the first time in years, and not wanting to say good-bye when it came time to do so. I don’t know how else to put what I am about to say other than this; Lisa is one of those rare people who can conduct herself, and her Cattery, professionally at all times while still making you feel like you're coming home for the first time, in a long time, to one of mom’s home-cooked meals. She spent so much time answering every question I had about Frodo, that I truly felt like we were the only people on earth looking to find a kitten. I don’t know how she does it, and still had time to spend with Jami and me, becoming friends. We talked about more in the 3 and half months leading up to picking Frodo up than I have with people I’ve known most of my life. You tend to develop ideas and impressions of what people may be like while corresponding for a long time. It’s been my experiences thus far in my life that the real thing never measures up to the expectation you have developed. In this case though, I would not have imagined how much Lisa and her family would exceed my expectation in every way. Lisa’s husband went so far as to come and find us in his car when we became lost in the Akron area, and led the way back to their home. You would not have imagined that they even had cats when we entered their house. However, you certainly knew it when they introduced us to all of their beautiful cats, and their well-mannered boys. (The human kind) As I said previously, it was difficult to leave when it was time to go home. Frodo is without a doubt, the most well-adjusted, sweetest, loving kitten I have ever had. I know that is directly related to the love he was given from birth by Lisa and her family. He loves to be with us, everywhere we go. He is just perfect for Jami and I. Everything we had hoped for and so very much more! I would, without hesitation, recommend Paws and Purrs Cattery to anyone looking to find that perfect new addition to your home and family. Once there was a litter with a possible kitten for me, again she kept me aprised of the situation. Our Zeke was born in January 2005. By the time we picked him up, I felt like Lisa and I were great friends. Her e-mails with updates always included her concern about my family and me. He showed no signs of stress or difficult adjustment once we brought him home. He has fit right in with us and has even won over our 10-year-old cat, who tends to be a snob. They play constantly, and I believe Zeke has added some years to the old guy's life. Our vet, also, was pleased with Zeke's exceptional good health at Zeke's first vet visit.
