Right away I felt very comfortable. Lisa and her family made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was lovely. When I was first introduced to Thereon, he was everything I imagined and more. Right away I fell in love. Lisa went over everything with me that is included in the nice package that comes with every kitten. She didn't rush me out the door, and she told me to call anytime of day and she means anytime. I've emailed her questions about Thereon, and she always writes back with such concern and gives great advice. On the way home, mind you a 4-hour drive, Thereon laid in my lap the whole time. He was very well behaved and is as lovable as ever!! If I was to ever buy another Persian, it would be well worth the trip to drive from Cincinnati to Akron because I know I'll be receiving the best kitten out there from such a loveable family." ~Amanda |

| Referral from Patty & Jami "The Hendershots have made a dream come true. My mom has been looking for a Persian for awhile now. Out of the blue, she wanted to look on the internet at different catteries in search for that special kitty. Then, we found her, my mom's eyes lit up and she said that's the one! We contacted Lisa immediately. Her name was Sadie, and my mom knew she had to have her. The night we went up to pick Sadie up, we were invited in their home like old friends. Lisa, Brian and her two sons were there to greet us. They introduced us to all of her lovely Persians. Lisa explained to us everything we needed to know about the breed and did not hurry us in any way. We all felt so comfortable in their home. Before leaving their home, Lisa explained one last time in full detail and said," if there is ever a problem call me at any time day or night, and I will help you with any questions that you might have." Lisa and Brian are very proud of all their Persians and want only the best for them. If we ever purchase another kitten or adult, we will contact them first. | Referral from Pat "I had recently had to have my Tortie Point Himalayan of 15 years put to sleep. I was heartbroken and determined not to have another because the loss was so devastating. After a while, I searched the Internet just looking at what was available in Doll-Faced Himalayan. I found Lisa and Brian Hendershot's Cattery, Paws and Purrs. I was impressed by their web site and thought their adult cats and placed babies were absolutely beautiful. I read all the information posted on their website and filled out the Kitten Application, then waited. Lisa emailed acknowledgment and approval promptly. At first, Lisa didn't think she would have a Seal Point Female Himalayan kitten available out of the next litters due. You can imagine my surprise and delight when she told me that she might just have a kitten available after all, but that I had to wait for one other person that was ahead of me who had first choice on a female kitten. Our friendship soon began. Lisa kept in constant contact with me, sending me updates and my own special pictures of my new sweet purrbaby... FANCY is her name. Lisa and her entire family are responsible for the character and personality of my new purrbaby. I have a kitten that is purrfect in all ways. She is not timid or skittish. She is not afraid of the vacuum or the canine, "Boots", she shares her home with. Fancy is a healthy, loving, gentle, intelligent bundle... who made herself right at home the very first day she came home with us!. I remember the day I picked her up. I was welcomed into the Hendershot home like a long-time friend. The home was clean, warm and friendly. The atmosphere was calm. All the animals were a part of the household. Not stuck in a cage in a garage. Each and every purrbaby is special and is treated with love. Matthew and Brandon do a wonderful job socializing each kitten. I felt so bad for Matthew, because he had to give up his favorite little seal point kitten. I will be bringing home my second purrbaby, Charo, in August to be Fancy's lifelong friend.
